Thank you for choosing Trails & Tales. We can’t wait to share the hidden gems of Ireland with you.
Below are our booking terms—nothing too complicated, just what’s needed to keep everything running smoothly.
1. Booking and Payment
- All tours must be booked by submitting an enquiry form through our website.
- Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll confirm availability and send you a booking confirmation by email.
- Your booking is only secured once you receive a confirmation from Trails & Tales.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- More than 7 days before the confirmed tour date: You can cancel free of charge.
- 2–7 days before the tour date: A €20 per person cancellation fee applies to cover administrative costs.
- Less than 48 hours before the tour: Unfortunately, cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
- If we need to cancel due to weather, low numbers, or unforeseen events, we’ll offer you a full refund or a free reschedule—your choice.
3. Changes to Tours
- Itineraries are subject to change due to weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- We’ll always do our best to deliver the planned experience or offer a great alternative if needed.
- Minimum numbers apply—if a tour doesn't reach the minimum (e.g., 4 guests), we may offer rescheduling or a full refund.
4. Health and Safety
- Guests must follow guide instructions for safety throughout the tour.
- Please let us know in advance of any health issues, mobility needs, or special requirements.
- Trails & Tales is not liable for injuries, illnesses, loss, or damage during the tour unless caused by our negligence.
5. Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend that guests carry their own travel insurance to cover personal belongings, medical expenses, and cancellations.
6. Behavior and Conduct
- We aim to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Any behavior that disrupts the group or poses a risk may result in removal from the tour without refund.
- Please respect local communities, landmarks, and fellow travelers.
7. Photography and Marketing
- Occasionally, our guides or photographers may capture moments from tours for use in our marketing. If you’d prefer not to appear in photos, please let us know before your tour begins.
8. Liability
- Trails & Tales is not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, or injury sustained by any guest, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
